Where do I log my food?
Set up the Healthie App and complete the required forms. Healthie is the home base where our nutrition coaching takes place. Be sure to set up the app on your phone if you want these things at your fingertips. For a guided tutorial on how to use Healthie, checkout this video about the app or this one about desktop access.
Will I be counting calories or macros?
Nope. This is a job for the dietitians. We would rather set you up for a healthy relationship with food rather than count calories or macros. Instead, you can log pictures and provide notes for the dietitian.
How do I log my food?
On the Healthie App, document 3-days of food and water intake in addition to exercise. Take a picture of your food, add the food quantities, and comment on any details that might be helpful for the dietitian. Don’t forget to note your hunger level before eating and fullness afterwards. Note if you consider this food a meal or a snack. The more details you provide (without the numbers) the more feedback you will receive.
You can adjust time as needed if you are logging your food at a different time. If you forget to take a picture of your food? No problem! Just describe your food in the comment section instead.
Be sure to add your water intake to the journal. There's a spot for this on the app!
You can also post your activity to your journal by entering it manually or syncing Healthie with Apple or FitBit.
When do I schedule my one-on-one appointment?
After you complete your food journal, schedule a 30 minute Individual Coaching Call to review your food journal and take action on your health and wellness. You can “book” this through the Healthie app or on your desktop account.
